Liverpool 5-0 Norwich City
Liverpool eased to victory this afternoon, putting 5 past
a helpless Norwich side. A fine Jordan Henderson strike and a 16th
league goal of the season for Luis Suarez took the home side into half time 2-0
up. Daniel Sturridge added a third on his Anfield debut, before skipper Steven
Gerrard and an own goal from Ryan Bennett completed the scoring.

Manchester City 2-0 Fulham
The champions eased to victory over Fulham at the Etihad
stadium, closing the gap on Man United to 4 points. David Silva struck inside
two minutes and with 20 minutes remaining to complete his first Premier League
brace for City, and could have easily had a hat trick.
Man of the Match: David SilvaNewcastle United 1-2 Reading
A late brace from substitute Adam le Fondre gave Reading
all 3 points at St James’ Park. Newcastle took the lead in the first half when
the returning Yohann Cabaye scored a sumptuous free kick. However, Brian
McDermott threw le Fondre on with 20 minutes to go, and the former Rotherham man
turned the game on its head as the Royals claimed back to back victories.

Swansea City 3-1 Stoke City
The Swans strolled to a comfortable victory at the
Liberty Stadium, as Stoke’s defence continued to leak. Young left back Ben
Davies opened the scoring with his first Premier League goal, before a
delightful double from Jonathan de Guzman sealed the win. Michael Owen added a
late consolation for the away side; his 150th Premier League goal.

West Ham United 1-1 Queens Park Rangers
The feisty London derby finished all level at Upton Park.
New QPR signing Loic Remy was thrown into action straight away, and scored
inside 15 minutes to give his side the lead. West Ham dominated the second half
and equalised when Joe Cole struck home from close range. The Hammers piled on
the pressure but couldn’t get a winner.

Wigan 2-3 Sunderland
Martin O’Neil’s side have collected their first 3 points
on the road this year, with a 3-2 win at the DW Stadium. Wigan took the lead
inside 5 minutes, when David Vaughan put through his own net. However, Craig
Gardner equalised from the penalty spot, and a brace from striker Steven
Fletcher, meant Sunderland went into half time 3-1 up. The home side exerted
lots of pressure in the second period, with new signing Angelo Henriquez
getting one back, but Sunderland held out for the win.

West Bromwich Albion 2-2 Aston Villa
The midlands derby between West Brom and Aston Villa finished 2-2 after the home side came back from 2 goals down. A fine striker by Christan Benteke gave Villa the lead, before Gabriel Agbonlahor made it 2. West Brom pushed forward in the second half and goals from Chris Brunt and Peter Odemwingie salvaged a point.
